Mrityunjay Awasthy

Mrityunjay is a multidisciplinary artist engaged with spaces both within and at the intersections of text, sound and image, continually (dis)locating himself in/with twin planks of crisis and anxiety. His work involves a performance to orchestrate a negotiation between intuition, and allowed accidents. Tracing the shared site of pleasure, beauty, the fear of the unknown and overcoming is the reward at the end. Born in India, Mrityunjay has made Toronto his second home.
